Water and Sewer Services

The Water and Sewer Services within the Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality area are owned by the Municipality. Section 258 of the Province of British Columbia’s Community Charter establishes that all utility accounts of municipality-owned utilities are liens against the property. On December 31, 2020, any overdue water and sewer accounts will be transferred to the corresponding property tax account, where the services were originally provided.
