Eddy Davis, B.B.E.
Eddy has been a building inspector since 2015. Starting from swinging hammers and operating equipment in the far northern end of the province, Eddy has been in the building industry all over western Canada nearly 30 years working in and for a number of municipalities and communities. After a time-out to get a business degree, Eddy worked in the political and administrative end of community services as a Director of Public Works, Director of Development Services, and CAO, and in the technical end as a contractor doing civil road and water projects and as a home builder. Seeing a lack of inspectors province wide in 2014 Eddy decided to fill that gap and now works as a building inspector for many small communities across the province, but with Sun Peaks holding a special place in his heart he has a long term open ended part-time contract here with dreams of winning the lottery and building his own home and staying permanently. He holds building science in the highest regard and he wants everyone’s build project to be the best it can be, so he loves to help solve building challenges and encourages all builders to produce the highest quality work that can be accomplished. His door is always open to provide guidance and answer questions, but as Sun Peaks is small he is only in office 2 days a week so check the schedule and book a time via email.
