Skating Rink

Helmets are required for all users under 13 years of age at all times. All users are required to wear helmets during Stick & Puck sessions. Ski and snowboard helmets are acceptable. It is recommended to bring your own, supply is limited.

Stick & Puck sessions allow guests to use sticks and pucks on the ice. All users are required to wear helmets. Temperature cut-offs will be enforced at -15° C to prevent damage to arena glass. Foam pucks provided by Rink Office can be used in cold temperatures.

Family Stick & Puck sessions are intended for children and parents. All users are required to wear helmets.

Advanced registration is recommended – no more than seven days in advance (see link below).

Drop-ins are welcome for all sessions, based on availability.

All users are required to check-in at the Rink Office and sign the Release of Liability Waiver.

Skate Rentals are available at the Arena Office and range in size from Child 8/9 - Men’s 12. Rentals cannot be reserved.

General Program Guidelines

  • Unsafe behaviour is not allowed.
  • No horseplay.
  • No food or drink on the ice.
  • No use of earphones or handheld devices on the ice.
  • Children under 7 years of age must be supervised by an adult who is wearing skates.
  • Children 8 years of age to 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Public Skating Guidelines

  • Helmets are mandatory for children under 13 years of age.
  • No carrying children or babies on the ice.
  • No strollers, walkers, chairs or footwear allowed on the ice.
  • Advanced registration is recommended - no more than seven days in advance. (see link below).
  • Skate Helpers are available for use. First come, first serve. 

Stick & Puck Guidelines

  • All participants are required to wear helmets.  
  • Limited supply of helmets, sticks and pucks available for use. It is recommended to bring your own. 
  • No additional training equipment allowed on the ice (shooter tutors, stick handling aids, cones, etc.).
  • Advanced registration is recommended (no more than seven days in advance). See link below.
