What is FireSmart Landscaping?
FireSmart landscaping is about strategic design, plant choices, and regular maintenance to reduce the amount of flammable material around your home. It’s not about removing nature; it’s about making it work for you.
Zone-Based Landscaping
When considering the landscaping on your property, it is suggested to look at it from a zone-based perceptive, working from the home outwards to the property line. Essentially, looking at the highest risk to the lowest risk areas.
