Attention all Resort Gas Ltd. Customers:
On August 5, 2025, on behalf of Resort Gas Ltd. (Resort Gas), Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality filed with the British Columbia Utilities Commission (BCUC) a Gas Cost Reconciliation Account (GCRA) report (Filing), which includes actual and projected GCRA balances, and a request for approval of a $1.90 increase in the Total Gas Commodity Charge from $17.13/GJ to $19.03/GJ, effective October 1, 2025.
This filing was approved by the BCUC on the 28th of August, 2025.
Resort Gas’s commodity rates are set as follows for each rate group (Residential, Small Commercial, and Large Commercial):
