ONLINE SERVICES & PAYMENTS NOW AVAILABLE
You can now sign up to view your Utility invoices and Property Tax Notices online through our Online Services. Once you have registered to view your Utilities Invoices and Tax Notices online, the invoices will be available through your online account. Past invoices will not be available.

Information required will be found on your Utilities Invoice and Tax Notice. A unique access code/PIN is assigned to customers for both the property tax and utility account and this access code/PIN is located on both the utility invoice and tax notice.
- Once you have registered to view your Utilities invoice and/or Property Tax notice online, the invoice and/or notice will be available through your online account. Past invoices or notices will not be available.
Online Bill Payments
Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality is pleased to announce that it will now accept payment by VISA or MasterCard Credit for select municipal bills/services.
Through OptionPay, our third-party payment processor, for a nominal processing fee you can make card payment through our website's Online Bill Payments link, on your smart phone by scanning the QR Code, via phone to the finance group and in our municipal office. All processing fees are charged by OptionPay and are not received by the Municipality.
Utilizing OptionPay enables our Municipality to keep our overall payment acceptance processing costs down yet provide for individual residents to utilize their credit card for payment of municipal bills/services.
Currently the following bill types for our Municipality can be paid through OptionPay:
- Accounts Receivable (invoice)
- Development Applications
- Business Licenses
- Permits
- Property Taxes
- Water & Sewer Utility
- Tickets/Fines
All payments will be received by the Municipality within 48 business hours, so please be sure to allow for this processing time when making your payment. Also ensure to know your daily and/or transaction processing limit when making credit card payments.
Credit card Rewards are earned on entire purchase, including fees.
