Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held for Sun Peaks Municipal Council to consider adoption of Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 0211, 2024.

WHY: Council is considering Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 0211, 2024
What is Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 0211, 2024?
Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 0211, 2024, if approved, is a site-specific amendment to Zoning Bylaw No. 1400 Recreational Residential/Commercial One (RC-1) zone to increase density to permit up to 110 dwelling units at 1180 Sun Peaks Road, Sun Peaks, BC (legally described as Lot A DL 3044 and 5957 KDYD Plan EPP125011) as outlined in purple below.
All persons who believe that their interest in property may be affected by Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 0211, 2024 shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing. Additionally, they may make written submissions (via any of the below options) which must be received at our office prior to 4:00 p.m. on August 19th, 2024. The entire content of all submissions will be made public and form a part of the public record on this matter.
A copy of the proposed Bylaw and all supporting information can be inspected from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday at our office until 11:00 a.m. the day of the Hearing. The full Council Report from the August 8, 2024 meeting is available in the Document Library.
No representations will be received by Council after the Public Hearing has been concluded.
