Project Notice for Sundance Drive Residents:
Please note this is a Sun Peaks Resort LLP (SPR LLP) Project that does not involve Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality (SPMRM). SPMRM is posting this information on behalf of SPR LLP:
SPR LLP would like to inform residents of Sundance Drive that there will be trucking activity in their neighborhood from approximately July 10 – July 31.
In partnership with Powder Ventures, the Resort is building a permanent ski cross course on Sundance Mountain. Powder Ventures will be hauling in truckloads of dirt into the site, along with a couple pieces of special machinery which will stay on-site during the project build. Trucks will be accessing Sundance Mountain via the access road at the West end of Sundance Drive that goes behind the Progression Park and school. During this date range, some days may see an increase of activity and some days may have little activity.
There is a plan for dust mitigation via water trucks. Sun Peaks Resort LLP thanks you for your patience during this time. The ski cross course build project will officially be announced in the coming days, so stay tuned for all of the exciting details!
