Property owners signed up for online services will have received their notices May 14. All other notices have been sent to the printers and will be going into the mail by May 22.
If you notice a large increase in your property taxes, please check your property classification carefully. Some strata accommodation properties may have changed from Class 01 (Residential) to Class 06 (Business and Other) following recent BC Assessment reviews related to short-term rental use.
If you believe your classification has changed in error, owners can contact BC Assessment directly to review and discuss available options.
