“The resort lifestyle that attract residents and employees from across Canada resulted in an extensive list of highly qualified applicants seeking to help us build the best mountain community in British Columbia. Council is confident that Deanna’s municipal experience in addition to her knowledge of the region and of resort communities will serve her well as she takes on the role of Chief Administrative Officer.
“I’m thrilled to be joining and leading the team at Sun Peaks Municipality and for the opportunity to support Mayor and Council on executing their priorities and vision for the municipality. As a current Sun Peaks resident, I am passionate about this place and everything it has to offer, and I am committed to its success. I look forward to working closely with Council, staff, stakeholders and the community, as we continue to build on the great work already being done here and explore innovative solutions to address the current and future needs of the community.”
