Please be advised that localized overland flooding in the area of the wastewater plant is impacting traffic on Sun Peaks Rd. As such, Sun Peaks Road is limited to single lane alternating traffic with a restriction on large commercial trucks and tour buses. The school bus will not be impacted by this restriction.
We are still treating all wastewater and have the support of BC Environment on our discharge plan. We are requesting that all residents and commercial businesses limit water consumption at this time to assist in reducing the inflows to the wastewater treatment plant.
