Nomination packages are now available for the 2026 Sun Peaks Mountain Resort Municipality Local Government Election. The General Local Elections take place Saturday October 17, 2026.

Completed nomination packages can only be received by the Chief Election Officer between September 1 2026 at 9am and September 11, 2026 at 4pm. Dropping off nomination forms in person is preferred, as this will include a review of all documents to ensure they are filled out correctly to mitigate any potential delays in processing the nomination application.
